Living in the suburbs of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, she is an extrovert that loves people. With an infectious laugh and a contagious smile, her employment with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority is greatly suited for her personality. Freely admits to having the genes from a long line of cooks, she considers her ability to “get down and burn” to those family members with seasoned hands.

Enjoys entertaining family and friends, especially in the summer with the “ol’ school” style backyard bar-be-ques pitching “Horseshoes” or throwing down on some raise and fly “Spades/Bid-Whist.” Music is a constant in her life. Flowing throughout her mind everyday, passion originally imbedded in gospel music, she considers herself a true “funkateer.” With an insatiable appetite for “slow jams” she loves all the music connected with the explosion of “Motown.” Enjoys hand dancing i.e., the old style swing and the bop. A lover of old movies and Television shows i.e.; Tarzan (fea. Johnny Weismuller), Amos and Andy, Gone with the wind, The Imitation of life (both versions) just to name a few.

Credits life-long friends and their continued support with helping to keep her grounded. Deeply appreciates new friends that inject her daily with the ability to keep her imagination alive and hopeful. A giver by nature, she enjoys bringing a surprising smile to the faces of many.
